RIATMP1026 – Step by step tutorial on how to create photoshop buttons
This is a very simple tutorial on how to create buttons in Photoshop. Follow this step by step guidelines and you can learn most of the things needed to create buttons. You can also download Photoshop file from here and modify it for your own use.
Step 1: First create a new Filele -> New and give width 900px and height 89px.
Step 2: Add a new layer and select 895px 39px rectangle name make corners to 3px rounded. Or from top menu choose Select -> modify -> smooth and select radius 3px.
Step 3 : Select ‘Effect > Gradent Overlay’ and select colors from left to right. #cbcbcb, #8a8a8a. You get a gradient rectangle box.
Step 4:
Add a new layer and create another rectangle 895px 47px just beneath the previous rectangle. Select Effect > gradient overlay and select color # 9f9f9f # 5e5d5e and fill the selection.
Step 5: Add a new layer and Draw 121px 31px rectangle, Select -> modify -> smooth and select 3px. Effect > gradient overlay.
Step 7: Now select this layer and make multiple copies and stack them one after another. Right click on layer and Select layer transparency. Add a layer underneath this layer and fill with white, next move one pixel down and select again and delete shared area so you will get a thin line bottom of your button.
Step 8:
Add one new layer and create rectangle box little large than your button and add gradient effect again.
Pick color #fbd888 and #f8bd36
Finally add a 1 pixel #fbd98 line between two section and you are done and it should look like this
